What is this about?
This case describes the story of a young man who had a rare disease. A rare disease which must be investigated in more detail. His father helped doctors and researchers to be able to do research. But the research they did had flaws and was not correct. This is a factual case.
Why is this important?
With these rare diseases researchers and doctors only have very few chances to investigate is. If the research has flaws or the data is incorrect, they can't publish any reliable information.
