Goal
This course is stimulates supervisors to become aware of which issues are relevant in supervising and mentoring. More specifically, mentors will get a chance to reflect on research integrity within their own research practice.
Requirements
The SPOC course is destined to senior researchers who have also a role as mentors and/or supervisors.

- Being a good mentor
- Mentoring towards Responsible Conduct of Research training
- Empowerment in Academia

Mentoring towards Responsible Conduct of Research training (RCR)
* Learn core concepts and information about mentoring towards RCR
- Reflect in the assignment to connect the concepts and information to your own work as supervisor
- Interact and give and receive feedback on others supervisors' work and experciences

Empowerment in Academia
* Learn how power dynamics in academia are related to RCR and what is needed for empowerment with effective strategies
- Reflect on your role in power relationships in work and improving your situation
- Interact with peers in the assignment about your personal goals in empowering yourself and your PhD students
