Goal

This course is stimulates supervisors to become aware of which issues are relevant in supervising and mentoring. More specifically, mentors will get a chance to reflect on research integrity within their own research practice.

The Supervisor SPOC course is part of the INTEGRITY Project, which develops an evidence-based analysis of student and researchers needs, blind-spots, and expectations regarding research integrity across 9 European countries.

Why is this important?

This course offers researchers an especialised training to improve their skills as supervisors.
This training can improve academic leadership and empowerment of supervisors.
Supervisors have an important role in teaching RCR to their supervisees.

* Learn how power dynamics in academia are related to RCR and what is needed for empowerment with effective strategies

Reflect on your role in power relationships in work and improving your situation
Interact with peers in the assignment about your personal goals in empowering yourself and your PhD students
