The Nuremberg Code

What is this about?

The Nuremberg Code was created after the end of WWII as a result of the Nuremberg trials. The code lays out 10 standards to which researchers need to adhere before conducting experiments. The concept of voluntary informed consent is explained in the first standard, and adopted worldwide after the publication of the code.
