Partnership with the Embassy of Good Science[edit | edit source]

Why partner with The Embassy?

Building a platform that is visually appealing, technically appropriate, safe, privacy-oriented and cost-effective, while meeting the needs of users, is challenging. Preserving it in the long term is an even bigger challenge. Therefore, we aim to support ethics and integrity projects in focusing on their objectives – while we ensure that the platform is kept up and running in the long term. We offer projects and initiatives support in permanently presenting themselves and their products on the platform in an accessible way. Furthermore, we are open to participate in projects to jointly develop a dissemination strategy or to co-create new functionalities to extend the platform.

How can you partner with The Embassy?

There are multiple ways to partner with The Embassy. It’s open, you are free to disseminate your output by making it relevant for our users by describing it in detail in a Theme page, by summarizing it as a Resource which links to your own format, or by writing Instruction pages, which can be used to build Training Guides (e.g. The VIRT2UE Guide). Moreover, the Embassy can host your project’s details and list important output, both in the short and long term in a new dedicated Initiatives section. In this way, you can easily disseminate your primary outcome or impact, and The Embassy can spread your work, news and events via our media channels (platform, twitter, mailing list). Disseminating the results of your projects becomes easy, cost-effective and increases visibility.

What are the options?

A. For all partners: innovative and appealing design, FAIR data structure, permanent presentation of the project and its products, and presentation in the Embassy calendar of upcoming events. Option A is free of charge.

B. For partners supported in presenting user-oriented content: all options mentioned under A; plus: support in creating and adding end-user oriented content from the project across The Embassy. Costs: 30K (equivalent to 10K per year for a three-year project).

C. For partners using the platform for consultations, internal project communication and dissemination: all options mentioned under A and B; plus: ability to create closed discussion sections which can be used for internal project communication and/or for online consultations; and inclusion of newsworthy items in the news section and the quarterly Embassy newsletter; and embedded project Twitter. Costs: 60K (equivalent to 20K per year for a three-year project)

If you are interested in options A, B, or C, or if you would like to discuss the participation of The Embassy in a project - including bespoke development of platform functionalities - you can approach us through the contact button on the about page of The Embassy.
